Frequently Asked Questions
A few more details.
-
“Document Everything” is less about recording every second and more about paying attention to everything that gives the celebration meaning.
We look beyond the traditional wedding-day milestones to preserve the voices, relationships, conversations, gestures, and in-between moments that might otherwise disappear. Depending on the collection, that may include the welcome party, rehearsal dinner, couple session, wedding day, and farewell gatherings.
The result is not simply a recap of what happened, but a personal record of what the experience felt like.
-
We offer three wedding film collections:
The Portrait | Starting at $8,000
A concentrated wedding-day documentary.
The Documentary | Starting at $12,000
A fuller narrative extending beyond the central moments.
The Sweetest Archives | Starting at $15,000
A comprehensive, often multi-day record of the celebration and the people surrounding it.
Collections vary based on the depth of coverage, the number of wedding events documented, the filmmaking team, and the scope of the finished documentary.
For detailed information about each collection, availability and custom multi-day coverage, please complete the inquiry form above.
Our three collections provide a starting framework, but coverage may be tailored for multi-day celebrations, destination weddings, cultural traditions, additional portrait sessions, and other meaningful gatherings.
Every proposal is shaped around the particular events, people, and story being documented.
-
A private screening of your completed wedding documentary is available as an addition to any collection - included in the Sweetest Eloise Archive.
Designed as a meaningful way to experience the film for the first time, the screening may be shared privately as a couple or surrounded by the family and friends at the heart of the celebration.
Details are tailored to the location, guest count, and experience envisioned.
-
Every Sweetest Eloise documentary is personally led, filmed, and edited by founder Elias Vazquez.
From the first call through the final cut, Elias oversees the creative direction of the film and works with a small group of trusted filmmakers when additional coverage is required.
-
Each wedding documentary is shaped from the most meaningful voices, conversations, gestures, and visual moments gathered throughout the celebration.
Rather than arranging everything strictly in chronological order, we often use a nonlinear structure—allowing a speech, private exchange, or quiet observation to guide the story. The goal is to create a film that reflects how the experience felt, not simply the order in which it happened.
Our complete wedding films are the best way to experience this approach.
-
Completed wedding collections are delivered within 90–120 days, allowing us the time required to create a beautiful and intentional film.
A short companion video is created after the principal documentary is complete and delivered alongside the finished collection. We do not rush an early teaser before establishing the visual and emotional direction of the complete film.
-
Minimal and considered.
We may occasionally offer simple guidance related to light, movement, or positioning, but we prefer to let the celebration unfold naturally without repeatedly stopping or recreating moments.
The wedding always remains the priority, not the production.
-
Sweetest Eloise is based in Chicago, Illinois, and available worldwide.
Travel requirements are outlined clearly within each custom proposal.
Destination commissions requiring airfare or overnight lodging are subject to a separate Travel Production Fee and reimbursement of related travel expenses. Minimum travel commitments are three days for The Portrait, five days for The Documentary, and seven days for The Sweetest Eloise Archive. Complete destination estimates are provided through a custom proposal.

We coordinate with the planning and photography teams before the celebration to understand the timeline, priorities, and working rhythm of the day.
Our approach is collaborative, adaptable, and respectful of every vendor’s role. We work quietly within the celebration while remaining prepared to adjust when plans, timing, or conditions change.
